The legend

Beyond the veil of mist

In the Age of Discovery, amid rumors of vanished fleets and untold riches, sailors whispered of the Neverseas — a world beyond the known maps, hidden behind a veil of mist.

For a long time the tale was dismissed as a fable. But when the first travelers found their way there and back, the great powers could no longer afford to ignore it. Armadas, merchants, mercenaries and adventurers set sail beyond the horizon — and a new race for power, resources and trade routes began.

Neverseas is an adventure action-RPG about a captain, a ship, and the struggle for influence across uncharted seas. Explore islands, wage battles at sea, make landfall, join sieges, trade, plunder, forge alliances — and bend the world's economy to your own ends.

Why Neverseas

An economy you can feel — and break

Colonies and settlements are linked by trade routes; prices react to supply, demand and events. It is not a backdrop — you can join the system, profit from it, or break it.

Fleets burn powder, provisions and hulls. A blockade strangles a port's production, and a plundered convoy genuinely impoverishes its owner. Every conflict consumes what the world produced.

Hold the helm through a storm while one friend reloads the broadside and another leaps onto the enemy deck. Play solo, or share one world with up to four captains.

Real wind, real maneuver, broadsides at close range — and when the hulls grind together, the fight continues on deck, blade in hand. No two battles are scripted, so no two are alike.

Some captains prefer the black flag and boarding axes; others buy up production and play the long, quiet game. Both are viable — and so is everything in between.

Laden trade convoys sail real routes with real cargo. Protect them, escort them — or meet them with your guns run out. Either way, the market will feel it.

Every ship in this world was built by someone.

Every war — paid for by someone.

You are in the middle of it.

The captain's path

From a rotten dinghy to an empire

  1. Learn the sea. Sail with real wind, keep your ship armed and supplied, take escort and trade contracts, hunt for rare goods — and make a name for yourself.

  2. Step into the world's economy and politics. Buy and manage production, run blockades, join sieges — the same rules bind you, the AI factions and everyone else.

  3. Command fleets, delegate the routine to trusted governors, and decide which wars are worth paying for. The world will remember what you did with it.
